Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using amendsignal.com and related sites (the "Service"), operated by Gaffney Enterprises, LLC, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
AmendSignal tracks official government changes that affect employment, HR and payroll, and explains what changed, who it affects and when to act, with links to the government sources it relies on. Some content and features may be available only with an account or a paid plan.
Information Only, Not Legal Advice
Everything in the Service is general information. It is not legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice, and it does not create an attorney-client or other professional relationship. Consult a qualified professional before acting on your own situation.
Accuracy and Official Sources
We work to keep every record accurate, but government rules change, sources are corrected, amended, delayed and set aside, and how a rule applies depends on your facts. A record reflects its sources as of when it was last reviewed. Always check the official source, which each record links to. Where a record and an official source differ, the official source governs.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. When you sign in with Google, your use of Google's sign-in is also subject to Google's terms.
Subscriptions & Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor on a recurring basis until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, copy it with automated tools in a way that places an unreasonable load on it, or use it to violate the rights of others.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and our analysis, summaries and explanations, is owned by Gaffney Enterprises, LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant no ownership rights in the Service. You may quote short passages if you credit AmendSignal and link to the page you quote. The government documents we cite are public, and we claim no ownership of them.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, and availability.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gaffney Enterprises, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service.
Third-Party Services
The Service links to government and other third-party websites and relies on third-party services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
